College has a way of indefinitely testing an individual in a manner that either makes or breaks one's spirit, one's passion, or one's drive. The path to choosing which end result would be part of my story was by no means linear, let alone easy. Those closest to me have witnessed the mountain of struggle that was painfully climbed and proudly conquered as I came to embrace my journey and the person that it has changed me into. As I begin this new chapter of my life, I pray that resilience, determination, and recovery continue to hold steadfast and true in all that I aspire to achieve and accomplish. Thank you UCR for all that you have done in making me proud of the person I am today.
